Hi everyone, my name is Panagiotis Georgopoulos (a.k.a. Panos [*]) and this is my personal online home on the Internet; everyone has one, so should I ;-)

I am a Research Associate (Post Doc) at the School of Computing and Communications (formerly known as Computing Department) at Lancaster University, UK in the Ofelia FP7 EU project (incidentally this is my research page on the University's portal). I am also part of the Security Lancaster initiative, for which the University has been awarded the "Academic Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security Research" title.

I obtained my PhD in Networking from the aforementioned School, where I was part of the Network Mobility research group.

Until recently, I was involved in the Portable WLAN JANET UK research project and before that, I was involved in the U2010 FP6 European research project.

If for any weird reason you want to learn more about me, my research work (research interests / research projects / publications), photos or videos related to my research or contact me, then click on the appropriate links!

* By the way if you are wondering why Panos, this is because in Greek, Panos is short to Panagiotis (as Chris is to Christopher or Andy to Andrew).
